Hi, Diane, I just saw your CBS This Morning segment–nice one–and I’m wondering if you’d be willing to be interviewed for a story I’m doing for Consumer Reports. The piece is on tipping while traveling, in the U.S., on cruises, and overseas (which can likely just include an example or two, since it’s too different country to country, then perhaps a link to a source with more details.)

You can speak to any part of this you feel comfortable with, obviously.

If you’re interested, you can reach me in the office tomorrow, Monday, at 914-378-2801, or via email. And thanks for your consideration.

The holidays are the perfect time to show your appreciation to those you provide you with helpful service throughout the year. When deciding on who and what to tip, be sure to take into consideration how often you/they visit, the personal attention you receive, and most importantly your budget!

I would kindly add to your list driver, be it one’s personal driver, occasional driver or public transportation driver.
