Is a spring getaway on your travel agenda? Does your new job require an overnight stay?  In today’s post I asked some of my favorite etiquette, style and grace friends via Twitter to share their “never leave home without” travel essentials, and I’ve also included a few of my own.

What are your “never leave home without” travel essentials?

I never travel without a framed photo of my children to place on my nightstand and a fab silky caftan to lounge in my hotel room!

Must have….Gogo in Flight wi-fi or I die. But, other than that? I ALWAYS take eye-drops, water & sweater.

1. My camera. Love taking pics!
2. Phrase book.  Important to try language of destination country.
3. Small gifts to give to strangers/children.  Surprising how often they have been a surprise and appreciated.
4. Green tea bags

Pretty Pink Ponies
Bumble and Bumble hair products, T3 Tourmaline travel hair dryer in pink, and my best pens and notebooks.

Diane’s Travel Essentials:

  • Downey Wrinkle Release – it can save your image in a pinch!
  • Individual packets of daily vitamins – I love the idea of throwing a packet in my purse before heading out for the day.
  • A large scarf – For double duty as an accent piece or a quick fix for a chilly airplane ride.
  • My Mophie charger – Because I always run out of juice on my cell phone before the end of the day, and I’m still going strong thanks to my mophie battery case…
  • A and D Ointment – Not only for babies bottoms, it keeps my lips soft and smooth.
  • Mini bottles of Pureology Shampoo and Conditioner – Nothing else will do!
  • Skinny Cow Dreamy Clusters – I’m always hungry and I love these little bags of goodness, especially when I travel.
  • Eye drops – I notoriously get a piece of fuzz in my eye, always at the most inopportune time.
  • Cash – lots of small bills for tipping everyone from the airport shuttle driver to the hotel valet.
