Easter Traditions: Creating a Special Easter Basket

Does your family enjoy creating a special Easter basket together for one another? In our house, everyone gets an Easter basket, including my two pups, Cookie and Charlie.  I am thankful for the many creative blogs and “pins” online that give me inspiration for my sweet treats and unique decorating ideas. I’ve already started trying out some new finds. What would be in your ideal Easter basket?

If I got to customize mine, here is what it would include:

Purple Peeps – Can’t go wrong with this classic! I don’t necessarily like the taste but they are so cute and I enjoy decorating the tops of my homemade (okay, store bought!) cupcakes with the sugary confection.

Everything looks better in lavender.

Starbucks Gift Certificate – To order my favorite sweet tea . The taste reminds me of a crisp Spring day, after my 2 cups of morning coffee!

Massage for one (me) x 7! Yep, I might be a bit greedy but what the heck. It’s always a treat to unwind and the Easter Bunny completely understands. If you haven’t indulged in one lately, you’re overdue!

Mini Kit Kats – I’m addicted! The shiny red Kit Kat squares and random other chocolate treats are always the first to go from my basket.

Pretty Spring Coasters – I love the instant cheer a set of beautiful, new coasters adds to my table.
They’re also the perfect size to tuck away in my basket!

A New Pair of Tory Burch Flip Flops  – To replace the ones I ruined last Easter running after Charlie, my dog, who tried to escape from our back yard. I wasn’t faster but more determined to catch him.
